Antea is a Grammy award winning music industry songwriter, artist and music educator.
She has written and licensed songs for major recording artist such as Beyoncé, H.E.R., Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez, Mary J Blige, Ciara, Mary Mary, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Candice Glover, Teyana Taylor and KeKe Palmer. She has been signed to Universal Music Publishing Group since 2009.

Signing with Rodney Jerkins & International Music Publishing in 2005, started Antea’s TOP 40 music career. With "Darkchild," Antea secured placements and notoriety with Beyoncé, Tamia, Bobby V, Danity Kane and a host of other A-List, award-winning artists.
Having studied vocal music on a full scholarship at Wayne State University, Antea studied opera, piano, and music theory. She is well versed in all areas of music and has translated her formal education into classroom teaching.
Antea has been a private instructor since 2002 and was a university vocal instructor for 5 years at DIME, accredited by Metropolitan State University of Denver. As both an instructor and the Head of Voice and Songwriting, collegiate teaching has furthered Antea’s experience and knowledge of popular, non-traditional musical studies.

Antea currently has dozens of voice, songwriting and business students, nationwide, studying in her program, TWIK: Teach What I Know.
Most recently, Antea vocal coached Emmy nominated, Grammy, Tony and Oscar award winning Cynthia Erivo and cast of Nat Geo’s Genius:Aretha. Also amongst her student roster are Candiace Dillard Bassett (Real Housewives of Potomac), Angela Birchett (Jackie Clark in the Lifetime biopic The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel), Ryan Destiny (Jillian on the FREEFORM Comedy Grown-ish, Season 3 and Alexander Crane on the FOX TV Drama Star), Cam Anthony (The Voice, Season 20 winner), and Jawan Jackson (Melvin of The Temptations in the Tony Nominated Musical Ain’t Too Proud To Beg and the Broadway hit Motown: The Musical).
